Ryan Kennedy
Ryan grew up in Davis, Ca, and began his first job in the golf industry at 16 years of age at the Davis Golf Course. He worked at 3 more facilities, 2 in Santa Barbara, before spending 11 years at Saticoy Country Club. Six years as the Assistant Professional and 5 more as the Head Golf Professional. His time spent at Oakmont Country Club allowed Ryan to perfect his Coaching Model to ensure students make a complete and lasting change to their game. The Coaching Model is now thriving at Rustic Canyon Golf Course!
Ryan is a Leadership Advisory Staff Member for Titleist and also serves proudly as a Foot Joy Staff member. He has been with these companies since becoming a Golf Professional in 1999.
Ryan is currently a TPI Certified Power 2 Coach, Golf Mechanic 3 and Junior 3 Coach! This is a great benefit to all students to ensure your body can handle what is being suggested. Once we know your limitations, we will be able to work around them to find a different solution. Ryan has also become an expert with K-Vest which is a 3D Motion Capture system and bio-feeback for evaluation, analysis & training.
Ryan is a knowledge junkie and is striving daily to get better and learn more about his craft. Every day he gets a little bit better.
Beyond the teaching and playing world, you can also find Ryan taking people on golf trips around the world, with Ireland of course being his favorite destination! When at home Ryan will spend much of his time with family including coaching his kids sports teams.
